PROTO-EASE INTERCHANGE SYSTEM
Various jaws and jaw blocks are interchangeable which improve the
versatility of the Proto system and reduces the number of pullers
necessary to accomplish various jobs.
ACME THREAD - FORCING SCREW
Feature flat, rolled edges to resist nicking and binding.
Has fewer threads per inch, to work faster than conventional screws.
Features a reduced thread angle for more power with less effort.
FLOATING TIPS - FORCING SCREW
Live tip does not rotate as the screw is turned; won't damage
or enlarge the shaft.
Prevents the tip from riding out of center and walking.
Relieves excess screw strain and keeps the puller aligned during the pull.
REVERSIBLE JAWS
SAVE TIME AND MONEY
Jaws on cone pullers can be reversed by simply pulling the locking pin
and turning the jaw around.
Jaws on adjustable jaw and straight jaw pullers can be reversed by
sliding the jaw to the end of the cross arm and turning them around 180º
NON CRUSHING JAWS
Jaws can be set at any degree of tightness on the part being pulled.
The degree of tightness remains throughout the pull.
• Eliminates the distortion of breakage of the object being pulled.
NO TOOLS NECESSARY FOR
ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY
Adjustable jaw and cone pullers use a snap pin for easy assembly
which eliminates hunting for small nuts and bolts.
Straight jaw pullers use a spring clip retainer to hold the jaw to
the cross arm.
